SUMMARY:Protest against ICE Facility in Pennsylvania
DESCRIPTION:End GEO Concentration Camps: Moshannon \n\n\n\nIndivisible groups across Pennsylvania are on a mission to SHUT DOWN MOSHANNON!\n\n\n\nMoshannon Valley Processing Center\, located in Clearfield County\, is the largest Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detention facility in the Northeastern United States. Operated by the for-profit prison corporation GEO Group\, this facility has become a central hub for detaining immigrants—many of whom have no criminal record and are being held without due process. \n\n\n\nPeople from across the region—Pennsylvania\, Ohio\, New Jersey\, and beyond—are being transported to this remote prison\, hidden from public view but not from public outrage. Inside its walls\, detainees face isolation\, substandard medical care\, and a long record of human rights violations documented by legal advocates and watchdog organizations. The facility operates under a contract between ICE and the Clearfield County Commissioners—a contract that is set to expire in 2026. That gives us a critical window to act. We must send a powerful message: \n\n\n\nPennsylvania will not be complicit in the cruelty of immigration detention. It’s time to demand that Clearfield County officials end their contract with ICE—and that GEO Group gets out of our state for good. \n\n\n\nLocation: Cold Stream Dam US-322 Philipsburg\, PA 16866
