The Pennsylvania United Church Center was dedicated in 1961 as a "bricks and mortar" expression of the ecumenical vision. In addition to serving as the home of the Pennsylvania Council of Churches, it houses the offices of the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, the Penn Central Conference of the United Church of Christ, and the Eastern Regional Conference of the Church of God. Church World Service/CROP and Church Women United also maintain their Pennsylvania offices in the Center, as do a variety of other not-for-profit agencies.

The Center has its own service department, providing tenants with printing and duplicating services at competitive prices. Tommy Gollick manages the service department, runs the state-of-the-art technology, and advises tenants on publication design.

Providing attractive office space and as well as meeting rooms for the Council, Center tenants, and other local groups, the Pennsylvania United Church Center continues to be a concrete expression of ecumenical commitment and service.
